My Thoughts

Seek God Diligently:
- Seek God diligently and do what He says. "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 11 v 6 (King James Bible)
- As you seek Him he will give you a promise just for you. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. " Hebrews 11 v 1 (King James Bible) You must hold on to this promise by faith until it comes to pass. Sometimes it takes a day, a week, a month, or even years, sometimes many years, but it must come to pass if you do not give up.
- Do Not Give Up! Do not throw away His promise, you need to grow up, so that you can receive and handle the promised gift. "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry." Hebrews 10 v 35-37 (King James Bible)
Where Are You?
- Some have not found God's love; and are lost on the way to hell.
- Some are saved but just babies; they cry for what they want.
- Some are saved but are young; they reason for what they want
- Some are saved and are old; they seek God and do what he wants.
Where Are You?
- Some are not saved and do not know God.
- Some have repented of their sins.
- Some have been baptized in water.
- Some have been filled with the Holy Spirit.
"Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2 v 37-38 (King James Bible)
Learn To Rejoice On This Side Of The Jordan:
Why wasn't the red sea parted and waiting for them when they got there? God had other plans, to show His power against Pharaohs army, teach the people to rejoice on this side of the Jordan, that He can be trusted. When we seem surrounded by troubles, the army behind us, high mountain ranges on either side and the raging river in front of us, REJOICE! Rejoice no matter what your situation looks like....Remember it is very easy to rejoice after deliverance. How different this story might have been is the people had rejoice in God their Deliverer. "And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD. And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness." Exodus 14 v 10-12 (King James Bible)
How Much Do You Know?
Do you know a lot about any subject? Say you are good at piano, if you are really good with lots and lots of experience how much do you think you know of all the wisdom in the world about pianos? All the piano wisdom before, during and after you are gone? Would you say you know 1%, 5% or 10% of all the world wide piano knowledge? No matter how much we know.... God knows ALL Knowledge! Why try to figure out things on your own? Why not go to Him who loves us and knows all things?
The Greatest Gift:
The world thinks money can buy happiness, the more money the more happiness. The Bible tells us otherwise. The greatest gift is salvation and knowledge of God. The next best gift is good relationships with people, wife, husband, children, family and friends. Then our relationship with the other things God has made nature, animals, pets, gardens etc. Another blessing is Peace, Joy, Hope, Faith and Health. things that money cannot buy. LAST is the stuff that man has made out of what God has left here for us. We need "things" to live but money can not buy the valuable things. The valuable things are a free gift from God as we grow and obey.
I learned about this first hand, I moved into a very rich neighborhood, one of the guards once said there is a lot of misery in here. I was shocked, how could there be misery in here, people have unbelievable amounts of money in here. But over time I saw the misery first hand, million dollar divorces, children that did not know their parents, parents that did not want to know their kids, sickness, sadness, anger, bitterness, trying to look young and hot when they were not, pride, arrogance, trying to hold on to there money, not being happy even though they had tons of money. All this misery because they did not have a relationship with God, from Him flows all blessings. You can not have the really valuable blessings with out God!
