Why Do I Have To Grow Up?

God came and asked this guy, If you could have any car, what would you have? The guy thought long and hard and then named a very cool sports car, God said OK! He saw the car, touched the car, smell the leather and even slept in the car. Then he asked God for the keys, God said you have to grow up first, you are only 8 years old.

When he was 16 he received his license and he asked God for the keys and God said you still have some growing up to do. When he was 18 he was going to school and asked God again but received the same answer. When he was married he asked God again for the keys, but the same answer came you need to grow up more.

The years went by and it was always the same answer from God. Over time he quit asking God about the car.

When he was much older, God came by and asked him, Why do you not ask me any more about the car? He said; Oh God, I did not realize just how expensive that car was and I did not realize back then just how easily I could have hurt myself and others with that car.

The next morning, when he woke up, he found the keys to the car on the night stand.
