A Mom's Gold Medal

It is hard to find a mom these days who wants to stay home and raise her own children. It seems being a mom is out of fashion, you need to have a education, a career, a good job to be someone. I know a mom who stays home, sometimes she is the only mom home on the street and all the children of the neighborhood would go to her house after school. I know a mom who's children do not want to leave home first chance they get, I also know a mom who's children want her to be close by when they attend collage. But I saw a gold medal passed out the other day when the friends of one of her children said, "We love being friends with your kids, we have learned so much from them and the stories we have heard of you, you are the best mom we know, can we be your kids?" She took that gold medal and laid it Jesus feet, for many years ago He helped her to stop working and taught her how to live on less so that she would have more time to be with her children.
