The Perfect Church

How to find the perfect church? It is not easy moving to a new area and trying to find a church, we have seen some with good or bad worship, others good or bad teaching, all were great at asking for offerings, none really demonstrated the power of God with signs and wonders. Some churches where 99% one color others were 99% another color and several were a mix of colors. All seemed to have gotten stuck some where in the reasoning stage and had lost the power and first love. One taught you do not have to choose God He chooses you, well all would be saved than, because God's desire is all should be saved. Another did not believe God heals anymore, another had become rich and powerful and forgot to seek or obey God, on and on it goes, we do not want to grow up so we find a comfortable place and then put God on a shelf and run things our way.

Trouble is if you do not want to obey God, He backs off because we do have a choice to obey God as difficult and wonderful as it often is.

"Do not expect a perfect Church, but find in a church the means of coming very near to Me. That alone matters, then the much, that is husk, falls away. Hold it of no account. Grasp the truth and find Me The True Bread Of Life. The lesson of the grain is the lesson of My Church and Me. The real life is all that matters, the outward Church is the husk; but the husk was necessary to present a life-grain to men." The Two Listeners
